Your own key (BYOK)
Included on every paid plan at no extra cost. Plug in your Anthropic, OpenAI or OpenRouter key — your provider bills you directly, with no usage limit from us.

Prefer not to manage keys? We run the AI for you — about 1,000 requests a month, with safety caps. A small monthly add-on, launching soon. Heavy user? Switch to your own key anytime for unlimited use.

Why is AI marked "deferred"? +
Projoint's data layer is ready for AI today, but the AI core is a separate product our founder is finishing. When it ships, you'll connect it via MCP or Managed AI — without re-platforming. See ADR 0011 in our public docs.
Do you mark up AI tokens? +
No. BYOK (bring your own Anthropic / OpenAI key) means the tokens you spend go straight to the provider — we never see the bill. Managed AI is an optional add-on for teams who'd rather not handle keys; the markup is a small flat per-seat fee, not a per-token cut.
Can I switch plans later? +
Yes, any time. Upgrades are instant + prorated. Downgrades take effect at the end of the billing period; if you drop below Free limits we keep your data read-only for 30 days so nothing is lost.
Can I self-host? +
Self-host lands as an Enterprise+ option after we hit SOC 2. Until then, you can always export your full team data as JSON + files (Personal Pro and above).
How does the Team trial work? +
7 days, full Team plan, no card required. If you don't add a payment method, your workspace drops back to Free at trial end — your data and members stay; some advanced features turn off.
Annual discount details? +
25% off the monthly price, billed once a year. Personal Pro is $45/yr ($3.75/mo equivalent), Team is $90/seat/yr, Enterprise is $225/seat/yr. Switch from monthly to annual mid-cycle and we credit the unused portion.
What about taxes / VAT? +
Stripe Tax handles VAT, sales tax, and reverse-charge automatically based on your billing address. EU customers with a valid VAT ID see reverse-charge invoices.
Refunds? +
No automatic refunds on monthly plans (industry standard). Annual plans cancelled within the first 30 days get a prorated refund. Edge-case refunds (accidental double-charge etc.) are on us — drop a note.
